~/apps/rtle
One line. One Return. One logged QSO.
RTLE is an offline-first logbook for SOTA, GMA, WWFF and POTA. Capture every QSO in one line, tap Return, and export clean ADIF — no account, no internet, no tracking.
$ one line captures callsign, report & reference — press Return to save · UTC-stamped · exported to .adi
~/how-it-works
Three steps, then you're logging.
Create an activation
Set your reference, grid, callsign and power. Your global defaults auto-fill every new activation — without ever touching the old ones.
Log QSOs in real time
Type the whole contact on one line — callsign, reports, reference — and press Return. It saves instantly, UTC-stamped, and clears for the next call.
Export to ADIF
Swipe an activation to export a clean .adi file, ready to upload to SOTA, POTA, WWFF and any other logbook. Invalid exports are blocked until required fields are set.
~/why-rtle
Everything the field asks for. Nothing it doesn't.
One line, one Return
Callsign, signal report and reference captured together. Press Return to save and move on — built for the pace of a pileup.
Works with zero signal
No connection required at any point. On a summit, in a reserve, deep in a valley — RTLE just works.
No account, no cloud
No sign-up, no analytics, no tracking. Everything lives on your device and nowhere else.
Standard ADIF out
Clean .adi files accepted by SOTA, POTA, WWFF and every major logbook. No lock-in, no conversion.
iPhone, iPad & Android
A native app across phones and tablets, ported from the original iOS logbook.
Dots do the typing
The dot key is easy to reach in the field — so dots expand into slashes and dashes automatically.
~/dot-substitution
The dot key does the reaching.
Slashes and dashes are awkward on a field keyboard. In RTLE, dots expand into them automatically — so your thumbs stay fast.
Inline commands work the same line too:
cw · 40m · 7.032 change mode, band & frequency on the fly.

~/privacy
Your log never leaves your device unless you export it.

Questions.
Does RTLE need an internet connection?
Never. It is fully offline, from logging your first QSO to exporting the file.
Do I need an account?
No sign-up, no login, ever. Open the app and start logging.
What can I export?
Standard ADIF (.adi), accepted by SOTA, POTA, WWFF and other online logbooks.
Which platforms are supported?
iOS 16+ on iPhone and iPad, Android 10+ on phone and tablet.
Can it fill in operator names?
Optionally. Load a stations.csv lookup and known operators' names appear automatically. It is off by default.

No analytics, no cloud, no lookups. Your log stays on your device until you choose to export it.
Take the log to the field.
Free to try, offline forever, yours entirely. Ported from the original iOS logbook.
